A message from Team Coleman
That's Mayor Chris Coleman!)

Dear XXX,

As part of Saint Paul-itics, a series to inspire the public to get politically involved and informed, the Saint Paul Public Library will host national political experts from coast to coast to engage Saint Paul/Minneapolis residents next week August 18th and 19th.

Mark Halperin is a national author, political expert, and senior political analyst for TIME, and he will be here to present Covering the 2008 Election: Perspective from the Frontlines at 7 p.m., Monday, August 18th, Metropolitan State University, Founders Hall Auditorium, 700 East Seventh Street, Saint Paul, MN.

Susan Estrich, a national author and legal and political expert, will talk about the 2008 election and what’s at stake at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 19th, Metropolitan State University, Founders Hall Auditorium, 700 East Seventh Street, Saint Paul, MN.

Halperin covers politics, elections and debates for the magazine and TIME.com and is the creator and author of TIME.com’s The Page, a definitive source for the latest news on politics.

Halperin is the author of The Undecided Voter’s Guide to the Next President, and the co-author of The Way to Win: Taking the White House in 2008.

Prior to joining TIME in April 2007, Halperin worked at ABC News for nearly 20 years, where he covered five presidential elections and served as political director from November 1997 to April 2007. He remains a political analyst for ABC News.

Estrich was the first woman to run a national presidential campaign, the first female president of The Harvard Law Review and the youngest woman to be tenured at Harvard Law School. Estrich has paved the way for countless women to attain positions of leadership.

An author of several books, including The Case for Hillary Clinton and the national bestseller Sex and Power, she is the Robert Kingsley Professor of Law and Political Science at the University of Southern California Law School. She was named one of the most influential public intellectuals of the century.

Saint Paul will be in the center of the action during the upcoming Republican National Convention and the last time Minnesota hosted a national political convention was 116 years ago, so this is a unique way to be a part of this history-making event with the Saint Paul Public Library.

Free tickets are available at www.SaintPaulitics.org or by calling 651-266-7077.

Sincerely,

Team Coleman
