http://www.mnblue.com/node/1701Laurie's Blo-and-Go website used to read:
"The challenge of an at-home blowout is what inspired, former runway model and wife of U.S. Senator Norm Coleman, Laurie Coleman to invent the Blo & Go, a hair-dryer holster. For years, Coleman had been jury-rigging wire coat hangers into holders for her blow-dryer so she could use both hands to style her hair. "You go on a trip with senators and you have 45 minutes and you have to be ready to go," says Coleman, who doesn't have the luxury of traveling with a hairstylist. "Norm's not going to blow-dry my hair." "
But now those references have been scrubbed. MNBlue has the scoop and asks:
Why is Laurie no longer shamelessly shilling her senatorial hubby? Did ol’ Smokescreen figure out that his wife shamelessly shilling him isn’t exactly “senatorial”? Was it Norm that figured out having Laurie shill Norm might not send the proper signal; might not show proper senatorial decorum? Or, might have a staffer - a staffer with a good sense of where the electoral winds are blowing - figured it out? Just a few months ago, a staffer was quoted in The Washington Post, thusly: Press secretary LeRoy Coleman (no relation) confirms that the senator is "indeed proud of his wife and proud of the product."
These days, not so much? So, I’m left wondering: just what caused Laurie to dump Norm?
And the Raindog asks: Could it be there was a possible FEC violation there? Team Franken, anyone looking into this?
