Mrs.Ed and I took little Edwina down to the Xcel to see history unfolding. Edwina's been an Obama supporter from the get-go.
The line snaked for blocks and blocks through downtown St. Paul. There were so many people there, we scarcely dared hope we'd get in. But after three hours, we were in our seats. Edwina didn't mind the wait. She said chatting with the people in the line and getting to know them was one of the best parts of the evening. They were people of every age, every race, every background, and the vibe was just sooooo good.
The house was packed to the rafters, and Obama gave a mighty fine speech. This was a night my little family will always remember.
