Local Businesses Supporting B/C
I saw the thread regarding the gas station, but decided to open a new one in which we can alert other DUers of local businesses advertising for bush/cheney.
Hamel Building Center on Highway 55 has a large b/c sign in front of their business.

2. What about Boschwitz's stores?
What's the name of them - I saw the guy a few months ago, he had not only one Bush button, but two - as well as B/C bumper stickers on both sides of his SUV's fender. I imagine he'd be prone to endorsing Bush through the family business.

3. Home Value
I don't know if Rudy's in the day-to-day operation of them anymore. His sons Ken and Jerry run them.

Anyway, they're called Home Value stores.

4. It's not any different...
than putting "God Bless America" on the front marquee. The only businesses that do this are the ones that rely upon customers stupid enough to go out of their way to support those that "agree" with them. I'll spend my cash at a Republican's store (hell, most large companies are fronted by Republicans... see www.fundrace.org), but not if they want to ostracize me and the 70-80% that don't appreciate these type of political moves.
