We need to ID this clown: (photo from latest Bush St.Paul rally)

This dangerous freak is sporting a known white-power tattoo on his wrist.

It is a potential PR coup if we can publicize the fact that Neo-Nazis may be showing up at the tightly controlled, invite-only Bush Rallies.

but am hitting brick walls as you can imagine. What I need is a high-res version of that pic to cement my suspicion.

7. I don't know, but I find those "crosses"
to be very offensive.

9. Recovering addict?
Edited on Thu Aug-19-04 11:07 PM by Dickie Flatt
Nick Coleman in the Strib: "Minnesota Teen Challenge enjoys the support of many Republicans, including Gov. Tim Pawlenty and his wife, Mary (she is on the board), and the group also was bused to Duluth last month to sing for a Bush rally there. 'Teen Challenge is one of President Bush's favorite charities,' said Kimberly Lende, a Teen Challenge official. With the remainder of their three hours in St. Paul, many of the recovering addicts made crosses by taping together inflatable Bush 2004 'thunder sticks.' Later, during the president's speech, they lifted the improvised crosses toward the podium, holding them out in a reverential manner."

The Logo:

That might be the image on the shirt, and the lettering on the shirt seems to roughly match up with "Minnesota Teen Challenge"

Calling that a celtic cross seems kind of questionable to me. It's very difficult to make out what that is.

11. Thanks for the info.
I am beginning to have doubts about this myself. The image is disturbing enough as it is.

12. Careful-- this could backfire
especially if he's a recovering addict and was ONCE a member of a white-supremacist organization, but has since "gone straight" after he cleaned up.

I have a hard time using anything to do with peaple in recovery for political purposes-- mainly because people do some monumentally stupid things when they're addicts, and often don't have control over themselves.

Trying to politicize something like this photo will look like we're trying to exploit some poor ex-drug addict who's trying to keep on the straight and narrow for our own political purposes.

The fact that they're making crosses with Bush/Cheney wiener balloons says enough. In the words of Hunter S. Thompson, "Res Ipsa Loquitor". The thing speaks for itself.
