Excellent article exposes Bachmann Amendment ramifications

Finally, the Pioneer Press has run an article detailing what Minnesotans can expect if they buy into the hateful lies and rhetoric of Bachmann Amendment supporters and write discrimination into the state constitution:

And even the Strib's usually-lame ombudsman, Kate Parry, weighed in this weekend with an excellent admonition to reporters to start calling this amendment what it is--a ban on same-sex marriage AND its legal equivalents, including civil unions:

It's about time the media starts doing a little educating rather than just giving people like Bachmann a pass on their lies.

I'm sure the GLBT community is thrilled to know Bachmann is in their corner, making sure they retain their rights to vote! I didn't even know anyone was planning to take away voting rights for gays and lesbians.
