Mike Erlandson on Voter Registration
I heard Mike Erlandson from the DFL speak on Tuesday evening at the Senate District 33 meeting. He told us that 40% of new voter registrations arriving at the secretary of state's office are being discarded.
If you are involved in a voter registration drive, it is imperitive that each registration card is thoroughly reviewed to ensure that all required information is included and that the handwriting is legible.
Republican Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer is doing all she can to limit voter registration this year.
I wish I had a link to verify this information. I found nothing at the DFL website but will continue to search.

1. Oh my, what a shock.
From a SoS who wanted to end election day registration, what are the odds?
