At least my nephews know how I think

My 14 and 15 year old nephews went together and bought me a t-shirt for Christmas. A lovely navy blue one which, in red and white letters says "Fuck Bush". I held it up to show the family and my poor mother, whose eyesight is not what it once was (and I was sitting in a dimly lighted area of the living room) saw only the "sh" at the end of Bush and assumed it said something about being Irish. So, her first response to the shirt was "Isn't that sweet of the boys?" Which caused a stunned silence, I swear even the dogs turned and stared at her. Then she saw what it actually said and shrieked "Oh my God!". Usually, Mumsie reacts to the F dash dash dash word like Ralphie's mom in "A Christmas Story", but she did say, "I don't like that word, but we are talking about Bush".

Reminds me of my mom when she couldn't see well and had Alzheimers so bad. She looked at her card and said how nice it was- upside down no less.
