Need information regarding a mayoral candidate for Minneapolis

I think he ran 4 years ago as a republican and before that he ran as a democrat. Name of Edward A. Ruf. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, wildhorses

No one by that name ran in 2001 . . .

Edward Ruf did run in 1997 primary as Republican. He came in fifth place with 1.93% of the vote.

He also ran in 1993 as an independent and came in fifteenth place with .15% of the vote.
