Minnesota Grandmothers 'enlist' to protest 'an evil war'

Army Capt. Valent Bernat tries to convince eleven anti-war activists who are grandmothers not to enlist at the Army recruiting station on Washington Ave. near the University of Minnesota. After police arrived and spoke with the protesters, recruiters agreed to allow the grandmothers to fill out enlistment forms.

These are the women of WAMM, my mentors. :patriot:

3. I'm not aware of any other similar attempts to enlist
Puravidadreamin, a DUer from Cape Cod, recently joined some Ragin' Grannies who protested at a local recruiting office and were almost arrested. Guess their singing got to them. :-) But no, they didn't try and enlist.
