Minnesota, It's time to turn up the heat!
From: http://www.amyklobuchar.com/ Kind of surprised no one else has mentioned this here. Got this email from Klobuchar and it certainly spoke to me. What do you guys think?

"Yesterday, the presidents of the big oil companies were called before Congress to explain why they've been raking in record high profits, while consumers have been paying record high prices. When even Republican leadership responds that the executives "did not accurately answer...whether their profit margins are appropriate given the hardship energy consumers are facing" you know something's up.

Tomorrow, we'll be launching an advertising campaign across the radio airwaves and the internet, promoting our plan to stop gas price gouging as part of a truly comprehensive national energy policy with new standards and investments in homegrown renewable energy.

This month we learned that Exxon Mobil took in nearly $10 billion in profits in just the last three months –- more than $25 billion so far this year. That already matches their total profits for all of last year. At the same time, the Republican leadership in Congress has refused to help Minnesota families with their increased cost of home energy.

Why should the people of Minnesota be left out in the cold this winter when the oil industry is warming up for yet another round of record profits?"
