2. Polls do not close until 8 PM
There are no results until then, only % turnout numbers will be reported until then.

4. you know he'l make himself out to be a martyr
That's one of the reasons I can't stand the little toad. He always makes it out like anyone who doesn't kiss his ass is somehow victimizing poor 'lil ol' him. It's disgusting to see a grown man behave that way.

5. And the press will jump all over it
in Kelly apology mode starting with the 10pm news tonight.

They will continue to try to carry his water just like after the primaries.

6. Hmmm...I'll take a stab at this.
I was voter number 362 at my polling place and judging by the Kerry/Edwards stickers on the cars that were there, I would say it was 361 for Coleman and 1 for RK at that time. I think one of my neighbors might possibly be a Repuke so I'll be generous to RK and assume she voted for him.

When I went in to vote, I complimented a guy in his K/E bumper sticker and he asked me if I would do him a favor. He wanted me to get the number off the counter on the scanner when I put my ballot in. No problem! He was tracking it and comparing it to the numbers from the primary and if it looked like the turnout was down, the phone callers and door-knockers would be out in force. Great! Nice to see we're not taking any chances even though Chris is way ahead in the polls.

As luck would have it, when I scanned my ballot it didn't take it the first time and I had to put it in a second time. I told the poll worker standing there that the scanner must not have liked the way I voted and she said "This isn't Ohio." Bwahahaha! Yes! She gets it! She started to tell me a little bit about the problems in Ohio and I told her I was well aware of the problems not just in Ohio but in other states as well. She was really surprised. She said that most people have no clue and/or don't pay attention to it. Unfortunately, she's right about that as far as the general public is concerned. All the same, it was great to run into a poll worker that was on top of things. Kudos to her!

7. OMG, that happened with MY ballot, too!
This is my first election in St. Paul, and it took THREE feeds for it to take the ballot. I made a Diebold joke w/ the woman guarding the machine afterward-- she got it and laughed!

If signage is any indication in my neighborhood (W1 P13), it's about 20 to 1 Coleman vs. Kelly. I walk five blocks to/from the bus every day and try to take as many different routes as possible. In my walks, I have seen dozens of Coleman signs and ONE Kelly sign-- and that's on a rental property.

Kelly's toast. No doubt in my mind.
