2. Ha...I spent a good part of today playing detective, trying to figure out
which house in GP Shores Rove was going to be at. I started with Google, then went to Open Secrets.org, and followed the money. I ended up with a list of 5 names, then got their addresses from the white pages. I took a bike ride to check them out. My "investigation" narrowed it down to the Liggett's. This is not a house. It is a huge mansion (quite old) right on the lake. I planned on riding by again tomorrow to see if my guess was right.
Never thought of checking out Michigan Lib. I guess I could have saved myself a bit of time. Oh, well...it was great exercise and fun playing detective.
I wonder if there are any welcoming plans in the works. It could be quite interesting. The GP Shores police are not known to put up with much, (not that they have much to do in this very wealthy area), although their forte is stopping people of color passing through their realm, speeders of any color, or people with older models of slightly rusted cars.
I guess I'll have to take another bike ride tomorrow.

3. Report from Detective livvy...
Guests started arriving around 12:45. I left around 1:20 and there were about 25 cars there. Let's see 25 x $25,000 a plate, not to mention each car had at least 2 people in them. One I saw had 4, and people were still arriving when I left. Tidy little take for a couple of hours.
No sign of the evil one, but I didn't stay that long. I'm sure he was going to arrive late with much pomp and todo. I decided seeing him would just outrage me, and besides, I was thirsty. :P I'd been riding my bike around since 11:30, and still had about 3 miles to get home.
No protesters in sight, nor any obvious police presence. I do think I identified one SS vehicle. It was a heating and cooling truck which just seemed to be hanging in the vicinity without ever going to any residence.
Pretty boring report, huh, well it was pretty boring to observe, too! The most interesting part of the day was watching the geese on the lake, and meeting a few very friendly, and nice dogs.
Must be time to go back to work. I apparently have way too much time on my hands!:silly:
