Is your town, township or village on the list of Snyder?
These are the towns that are eligible for an emergency manager. Not saying they will be, just that this is the state's list of the ones that could be. He did just train 100 emergency managers so you never know......

1. Well I know where I'm not moving anytime soon. To be fair, some of these
communities have serious economic struggles. But I don't trust this process. I think they just want to pilfer property and resources.

2. This is a list of distressed areas
but, like I said they may not be on the immediate list for EMF. Actually this list was used in the past to funnel additional grants to places that were economically in trouble. Now the process is in place to do more, much more. My guess is that some of them, like St. Joseph and Charlevoix will be wanting to get off that list as soon as they can. It should be interesting to say the least. My town is under 10,000 so it doesn't appear on the list, I'm sure it could.

But I don't think sending Robert Bobb (or somebody like him) to displace the elected officials is an appealing solution.
