Hey, Michigan! Are you snowed in?
We've had so much Lake Effect Snow that I'm clueless as to how much is out there! It's been snowing since last week!

Had to laugh at the weatherman yesterday when he said we're expecting our first big snowstorm later in the week! Really?

Really?

Sigh

2. Yup, here in Oakland County
just a bare dusting on the ground. Even though it's cold, what falls overnight in the snow showers mostly is melting (or maybe evaporting from the cold wind?) during the daytime.

They say we will get a more major snowfall this weekend. Of course, here in Oakland County, they laid off 1/3 of the road crews AND have a lot of their equipment down for repair, because they can't afford to replace it OR to pay the remaining mechanics to get it fixed in a timely manner.

3. I have close family
who say the price of road salt goes up every year because the counties pay top dollar for the salt. If they are paying out the ass for road salt something will have to give this winter.Look like its oakland county's snow removal equipment.

4. Pounded in the pinky!
Lots and lots of snow with more to come. Of course Traverse City is right on Grand Traverse Bay so it's like a snow machine. :hi:
