Walberg didn't sign Michigan delegation letter urging rescue plan

Fifteen members of Michigan’s congressional delegation sent a letter to President George W. Bush, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke today urging them to find the funds necessary to put a rescue plan together for failing domestic automakers.

Not signing the letter was Rep. Tim Walberg of Tipton, who was defeated for reelection this year, and Rep. John Conyers, a Detroit Democrat, who put out a news release today also calling on Bush to direct Paulson to come up with a way of saving Detroit’s troubled automakers.
