You know, I can go a year without calling Malloy (I don't know the number just now) but he and Kathy remember that Mad Dog big time. It was his show that I first heard about Nancy. That is pretty damn special. Tell Nance to ask him about The Dog. He will know. If I can find the number, I wanna call in right now. :)

Like I said, I first heard of Nancy on Mike's show when he was on IE America. I was a regular caller in those days. Anyway, when I first called her on 1310, her producer (Ceedee Henderson) answered the phone. He knew me straight away, from his days with Mitch Albom. My band was on that show several times, and he played a major role (IMHO) in helping promote a benefit for my keyboard players's family at the Attic in Hamtown after that accident I was in. That was made easier by Mitch's rightful rants about drunk drivers. Nancy knows the story ad nauseum, but I need to remind folks that Nancy is special, and works with special people. So, if I get spiritual on you, I would beg your forgiveness.

I did not post this to glorify myself. (Bruce, yo know who your are.) Rather, I posted this because my heart works ahead of my head, but mostly with my head. If this does not reveal me enough for certain aggressive folks, then I am sorry. For most however, I am confident there is peace and understanding about why I feel so strongly about Nancy's chances this time. She has a faith in things I wish I had, and I admire that a lot. My faith is tested every fucking day, but seeing these old connections just reminds me to be a better person.

I used to listen to Malloy on IE America. Found Peter Werbe on RIF and that led me to IE America. However, I used to listen to Mitch's show back then and I remember he had bands on. I know I must've heard you. Oh wow!
