Do y'all read the metro editorials?
I've been following the Charles Stephenson saga. His letter today:

"As Metro had many responses to my letter ("Liberals are as Bad as the Taliban," May 5), I hope to add a quick rebuttal: I'm not surprised that most who wrote in are clearly liberal.

How else could one writer say evolution is not anti-Christian? The Bible says all of humankind came from Adam and Eve, but evolutionists ignore this detail. Our Founding Fathers were Christians. The first American settlers were Christians. They were not atheists, Jews, Hindus or Muslims, and they wanted America to follow Jesus. Freedom of religion gives people freedom to follow the many branches of Christianity. It doesn't mean freedom to reject Jesus, nor to worship Satan."

This man is seriously deranged.

1. Thankfully...
A 100 years of jurisprudence makes this...

"Freedom of religion gives people freedom to follow the many branches of Christianity. It doesn't mean freedom to reject Jesus, nor to worship Satan."

...100% wrong. This guy is worse than seriously deranged. If he were seriously deranged, we couldn't hold him responsible for his falsehoods and actions. But, he knows.

2. I wonder if he actually believes this.
Maybe he's just a sock puppet? I really hope that's the truth otherwise the world just got a little sadder for me. How could anyone really believe that?

6. The "trifecta" of Metro Wackjobs!
Love seeing Miguel's letters in the Globe. That guy has way too much time to craft these letters.
