As you probably know, one of the Occupy Boston camp sites was cleared out early Tuesday morning by the Boston Police Department. (You can catch the videos here if you haven't seen them yet.)

Would you consider joining us Saturday in Dewey Square? (Dewey Square is almost directly across the street from South Station.)

VFP members, please wear VFP gear and bring your flags and your enthusiasm.

1. All Mass Veterans

As we approach Veterans Day on November 11th, please call Mumbles Menino's office at 617.635.4500 and leave a message for him. Tell him we Veterans do not want him to participate in any Veterans Day events, parades or other get togethers, and for him not to issue any statements about Veterans on our day.

Tell him that draft dodging cowards like him that have Veterans roughed up and their personal belongings trashed, and their flags thrown to the ground, would consider his presence or statements to be just another insult to Veterans.

2. Mumbles doesn't attend Veterans Day ceremonies.

He was set to give a talk in 2008 at City Hall at the end of the parade and then some pesky VFP members decided to get arrested.

No more Mumbles spewing crap on Veterans Day.
