As always, Lancaster seemed to be moving very smoothly and in their new space this year. Plenty of poll workers to help guide you, a line outside that dwindled down quickly each time it got going a bit. Basic wait of about 10 minutes or so before getting in. Double verification of address (before getting ballot and before submitting ballot). We've got about 4400 registered voters and only a single question on the ballot outside of the races and it's one that directly affects how much our taxes will be next year so I expect a high turn out here.
But damn I always feel proud after walking out of the place.
I think it'll go through. There's enough guilt tripping about it in general and the fact that it was a stupid loophole that kept them from collecting their due means that people will go for it. I wasn't keen on it since I'm self-employed and would rather not have to deal with the increase, but it was one of those "right things" to do.
