http://www.electoral-vote.com/states/massachusetts.html

This shows Kerry getting 59% to Bush's 40%. In Texas they have Bush over 60% and Kerry under 40%. I'd like to think that Bay Staters will come to their senses and give their "Home Boy" a MASSIVE victory over Bush.

1. I am not so sure
Lots of people at my work are Repukes. Among the Dems there is a sense that voting in Mass is pointless. It's going to be a Kerry state, but not THAT big :)

2. I'm Sorry to hear that. I guess the Pubs are more organized.
I'd like to see Kerry win his state with a HUGE margin because Bush is doing so well in the Red States as compared to Kerry in the Blue States.

4. Can you post some evidence as to why and rebut the first posters...
argument.

No offense to anyone, of course!

7.  I can't post evidence but I have always lived in Mass----
and can't imagine that Bush would get more than 40%,if that.

Three of my kids live in Mass and 2 out of three are for Kerry.

Kerry bumper stickers and yard signs all over the place.

6. I think it's a possibility
Hopefully really liberal places like the Valley and Cambridge will counter the Repukes with their W'04 signs on their expensive cars out here on the Cape.

8. The radio here has gotten so rabidly repuke
WAAF for instance. It's fascist propaganda. So many men that listen to that, or sports radio, just hear one side of the story and will end up voting Bush because of the fucking radio and because Bush "is tough".

Plus the Herald. :eyes:

I hope that Kerry will get over 60%. I think he will, but we'll see.

10. But if these men also listen to Howard Stern, they'll be voting for Kerry.

11. I think some of us may be getting complacent
It's Kerry's state and we all assume that of course he's going to win it (which he is) so we may not think of our votes being important and aren't as revved up to race out to the voting booth as we would be if we lived in a swing state. And, not everyone in this state, including Dems, likes Kerry.

(Note: I'm just using the word "we" as a generalization, not referring to myself or any other DUers.)

13. It's because of RW radio and blow ins
there are tons of new Massholes who moved here for jobs and settled in the Western suburbs. Fortunately, all the big cities are solidly Dem.
