the follow followup

well ole huff and puff (can't think of a better fitting name) had his meeting with the milty-nocket mill owners. of course it was in executive meeting(that way his handlers could prevent him from shooting his foot off in public) so not much has been printed-
there are only 1 of three answers= they find new owners and huff an puff eats crow on tax relief; they talk the owners into running another year or so; or they retrain all the employees for new jobs!
here's what has been made public:
The Maine Department of Labor recently deployed a rapid response team to the hard-hit region.

“We are happy to hear that a little more than 400 are taking advantage of the services of the rapid response team,” Bennett said.

The team’s mission, among other things, is to help affected employees find new jobs or make a transition to new careers.

hmmm hmmm stall it ,make it yesterday's news ;hope it blows away!
