GOP mailers for state senate race: Bed Bath & Beyond and Old Navy: Good paying jobs
For whatever reason, the state GOP has decided to target my incumbent state senator, Larry Bliss, with a constant mailbomb. One of the latest mailers is pro-Joe Palmieri (if there is such a thing) instead of anti-Bliss. On the cover is a photo of the Bed Bath & Beyond and Old Navy stores in the Target shopping complex in South Portland. Inside it talks about jobs, and how Joe Palieri is "pro-business" and "pro-growth" to "keep and attract good paying jobs and long term economic opportunities for our state and community." What sort of "regulatory relief" is needed for businesses in Maine, retail or otherwise?

Does the GOP in our state seriously think that people working in the shops at the mall are in "good paying jobs?"

1. Did Palmieri build the mall?
This is an odd mailing. But most, if not all, of the GOP mailings have been horrid this cycle.

2. They keep saying he is a small businessman
But I haven't seen what business it is that he owns.

5. Yes you're right
More high paying jobs there: putting hot dogs on a griddle.

3. I've received nothing from the GOP this election
Nada. Zilch. I guess I'm not on any of their lists?....

I agree High Density. Those GOP mailings are ridiculous.

7. I can't stand the radio ad about Paul Lepage creating hundreds of jobs
at Mardens as if that is a bragging point. I don't think Mardens jobs are the kind of jobs most Mainers are looking for.
