I just saw three men with an Impeach Bush/Cheney Banner
I was coming home from Wiscasset and they were on the overpass on High Street (Rte 209) in Bath. People were honking at them as they passed under the overpass.
They just made my day. Thank you to those three men. :patriot:
Smile this may make you feel better it did me. Yesterday at a stop light in Gray I had a 1ton ford pickup in front of me with elect Bush/Cheney in 04 stickers on the back window and bumper. from the tools in the back I would say he was a contractor. I see him looking at the price of gas at the filling sta. across the street and shake his head. it was $4.07 per gal. for regular. I smiled thinking son you elected him when gas was $2.00 a gallon and it cost you $60 to fill that tank now it cost you $120. he reeled you in with that $600 rebate in 2002 and he's had his hand in your pocket ever since. now he's trying to get more government land for oil leases. why? so they can stick the next generation with oil spikes. son I hope your a little wiser? I know from looking at the truck your worse off.
they used to drive both of their vehicles to work - a truck hauling a trailer and a minivan. I watch their two children during the summer months. They told me that they would be dropping the kids off a little earlier this year because they needed to carpool to save on gas. I know that they voted for Bush. She also asked me if I had recieved my stimulus check because they were waiting on theirs and needed it. I have no idea who they support now. They tend to think I am a little 'out there' and that's ok. I have avoided politics with them since I noticed their W sticker on the inside of their work trailer.
the nut doesn't fall far from the tree; his father helped put my wife out of business. so she started another out of our house; junior ended that with his give aways to the health business. her health insurance went from $169 a month to $700. and her meds from $30 (co-pay) to $125. she couldn't pass that on to her customers. so much for small businesses being the back bone of the country.
