Camden mother seeks help finding missing teenager

CAMDEN (Feb 27): The last time Lisa Allender saw her 15-year-old daughter Amy, the Camden-Rockport Middle School student was walking to her great-grandmother's front door on Court Street in Rockland on Monday.


"My mother and grandmother live next door to each other in Rockland and I was dropping Amy off to get help with her math homework," said Lisa.

After visiting with her great-grandmother, the teenager was supposed to walk next door to her grandmother's house, which she did.

At 6:15 p.m., Lisa said, her daughter went out the door of her grandmother's house, en route back to her great-grandmother's house to wait to be picked up by her father.

"Amy was standing in the door to leave and my mother turned around, assuming she went next door," said Lisa.

But the girl never made it to her great-grandmother's home.
