Please take some time this weekend to join former Rep. Tom Andrews in attending a rally to send a message to George Bush and Senators Collins and Snowe. Just this week, Senators Collins and Snowe again voted against a timetable to end the conflict in Iraq. It's clear that the Senators have decided to stand with the President and war supporters like John McCain, instead of the majority of Americans who want to end the conflict in Iraq.

The majority of Mainers and the American people are opposed to this war. There are honest disagreements about how to best end the conflict but we all agree that we must end the conflict in Iraq.
Maine Senators Snowe and Collins were presented in Congress with a plan to end the war, instead of supporting an end to the conflict, they voted to maintain the status quo.
