I have no committments that weekend. I could come down if I'm needed. I think in Louisiana we do not need to be as concerned about the electoral college votes the next day as we do the possibility that Secretary McKeithen will be selling LA over to Diebold. That is what I'd be most interested in addressing.

3. I guess nobody's up for it

Since it's Tuesday and I still haven't found ANYONE from north Louisiana who plans on going to Baton Rouge on Sunday, I will be bowing out of the 51 Capitol March.

However, there will be a jazz funeral and wake for our democracy in New Orleans on Inaugeration Day. (January 20) I've already asked for the vacation time and started looking for somewhere to stay. I'll be leaving Shreveport on the 19th; if anyone wants to ride, get in touch.
