New Orleans Area - FYI New Iberia Hotel Information

We are not under a warning or evacuation.....yet (Keeping my fingers crossed) Just checked with the Tourist Commission in Iberia Parish. There are still some rooms at New Iberia hotels, should you want to head this way. Here's a list of the chain hotels:
Days Inn, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Comfort Suites. There is one small private motel: The Inn of Iberia

If you head this way, take Highway 90 out of New Orleans. I-10 through Baton Rouge was bumper to bumper at 6:00 this morning.

If you are towing a trailer or driving a motor home, there are several places to park in New Iberia: Chase's RV Park, Maxi's Campground. There is a KOA on I-10 just passed Lafayette, heading West.
