Unbelievable alligator pictures

I got these emailed to me today. They were taken by a Med Express helicopter crew that was returning from an air ambulance run. They were coming back in over St. Mary Parish, and saw this:

They followed it in as far as they could before it went too far back into the basin.

They said that the deer was a pretty nice size, and they figured the alligator was in excess of 12 feet long.

Just shows you we're not the only creatures on earth capable of incredible acts of slaughter. At least with the gator, you can say he'll get a few meals out of it. You can't always say that in our case.
