GOING AFTER JINDAL'S SEAT:
GOING AFTER JINDAL'S SEAT: Stacey Tallitsch, a New Orleans Democrat who is a candidate in the 1st Congressional District race, will greet voters and supporters today at St. John's Coffee House in Covington.

Tallitsch will arrive at 6 p.m. at the coffee house at Columbia and Boston streets and the public is invited, St. Tammany Parish Democratic organizers Annie and Buddy Spell said.

Tallitsch, who lost his home to Hurricane Katrina, is a computer engineer. He is the second Democrat and second engineer to announce as candidates to oppose U.S. Rep. Bobby Jindal, R-Kenner, in the Nov. 7 election.

2. Tallitsch has my vote
I got screwed over and my voter registration didn't go through in Tennessee. Therefore I'll be requesting an absentee ballot tommorow. Jindal's going to win in a landslide but at least somebody has the guts to challenge him. I look forward to voting for Stacey.

3. I'll be voting for
Stacey Tallitsch tomorrow. I feel that Jindal will still win but I hope that enough of us can at least send a message.

4. He got my vote.
1. Bobby Jindal is simply padding his resume' for his gubernatorial run.
2. I really dig the idea of a progressive in the race. Stacey seems like good people... as well as "real" people. I can relate to him, and can imagine him representing me.

Ya never know... fingers crossed. Good luck man.
