Most Lexington folks opposed this. When the coal people attack us about our concerns they forget that EVERY body of water in the Commonwealth (their wealth,we're common) has mercury laden fish. Every lake/ river ruined so these pigs can live in Boca Raton.

But big money always wins. It's absolutely sickening. I wouldn't mind if they honored the miners, men willing to work hard in a dangerous job that ends in black lung, to feed their families, but honoring the industry that has raped the land and stolen the life from it's people for generations is beyond disgusting.
