N.E. Kansas vodka drinkers: Have you tried "Most Wanted?"

Distilled in Atchison, so you're buying locally and supporting a Kansas company.

Pretty good stuff, too! I tried "Most Wanted" vodka out of curiosity a couple of months ago and found it tasty.

Try KansDem's Cocktail Original:

3 oz. "Most Wanted" vodka
1 oz. Noilly-Prat dry vermouth
5-6 shakes of Panola Clear Hot Sauce

Shake with ice and pour in cocktail glass garnished with garlic-stuffed olive.

Mmmmm...:9

1. Yes
I found it 4 years ago at a liquor store when I lived in Wichita. I live in KCMO now, and haven't found it here yet. So I get a case from time to time when I'm back in Wichita visiting. It's as good as Ketel One or Grey Goose, and half the price.

I'm gonna try that clear hot sauce. I love hot spicy food & drinks. And the garlic-stuffed olives.

The martini I make most often is a cajun dirty martini.

1/2 part pepper-infused Most Wanted vodka
3 1/2 parts Most Wanted vodka
splash of dry vermouth
splash of olive juice (Reese chili-stuffed olive juice for an extra-hot martini)
Shake with ice & pour straight up in a martini glass with a chili stuffed olive & a garlic stuffed olive.

To make the pepper-infused vodka, I slice 5 habanero peppers and 6 serano peppers with seeds, and 1/3 red bell pepper w/o seeds and put into a half-gallon of Most Wanted vodka. Leave it at least a week or so, until it's a nice green-gold color. It makes a fiery hot infused vodka that's also good in bloody mary's and is VERY hot, a half-gallon will last you a long time.

Another good martini I like is equal parts Most Wanted vodka and Bombay Sapphire gin. Splash of vermouth, shake with ice and garnish with bleu cheese stuffed olives. Just don't get the olives that are packed in oil. They taste good for snacking, but the oily film on a drink isn't something you'd want to serve to your friends.

3. tanj, they used to make that stuff in Leavenworth but they moved
I'm not buying anything from a town named after a pro-slavery Missourian.

Atchison needs to be renamed to Lincoln
