It seems that Ed Fallon has opened some eyes among Democratic candidates. An article in the QC Times the other day states that Culver has contacted Fallon for possible fund raising help and at least two alleged presidential candidates have also contacted him. Hillary Clinton and Russ Feingold at least notice Fallon and his fund rasing methods, that is taking absolutely no PAC money. A link. www.qctimes.net. You just have to type in ed fallon in the search line and it will take you to the article. Anyway, here's hoping more and more Dems listen to Fallon's message. We need more grassroots in politics.
whether he runs or not. I could not believe any american bought the * administration's case for war or that he had something to do with 911. I didn't even know others thought that way. Well Russ didn't buy the line of BS. He is the only one that has the moral high ground to stand on and say I never voted for the war! That is the bedrock of a winning message IMHO. He can say with conviction we are on the wrong path and I have never stepped foot on that path with * and the Neocons.
Ed has campaigned the last 14 years as the champion of people without money and without a voice. (Sounds a lot like Feingold to me.)
If Ed signs on with Hilary for 2008, he will have sold his soul to the woman who raises money from big dogs 24/7 and runs toward the proverbial "middle" with every change in the direction of the wind.
It's okay to talk to Hilary, but don't become her bitch.
If Feingold or Clinton runs, I hope they learn something from Fallon's fund raising efforts. It is likely impossible for a presidential candidate to run a campaign like Fallon did, but they can do something similar, at least limit PAC money.
