1. I was looking too -- haven't found any. But...
These two articles were rather interesting:

It seems Johnson County is on pace for a turnout record:

But the rest of Iowa doesn't care so much:

2. How depressing is that?
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 04:27 PM by IA_Seth
How sad to think that we have at best 10-25% of people in this state that actually are interested enough in who represents them, and their needs, to go out and vote in a primary.

If I were a ghost of our country's forefathers (or foremothers), I would be pissed. To think so many people died over all these years (and the struggles just to give women and minorities the right to vote!) to have 10-25% of people take advantage is pretty sad.

3. Don't forget, Seth, that only about 10% of the colonists
supported the revolution. Most just waited to see who won.

6. WHO is increasingly Republican Partisan
Their right wing talk radio is starting to rub off on the TV news.

And you know, Democrat candidate versus Democratic candidate is no accident. That is a polled republican ploy as voters prefer democratic candidates to democrat candidates.
