So Blouin's people call me last night
That's ok, I'm a registered Democrat and I don't mind, even though it was a bit late (for me anyway) but the guy asked me "Can we count on your support on Tuesday?" I explained to him that I was leaning toward another candidate, without mentioning any names and then the guy went into what Blouin will bring to Iowa. Then he asked me, "Now can we count on your support?" I explained to him that I have freedom of choice and I prefer this other candidate's message and I'm tired of all the negative BS against Culver as well. He asked me one more time, "Can we count on your support on Tuesday?" I then decided that he wasn't listening, told him so and wished him a good evening. I then noticed on my calller ID that it was coming from Mike Jacobs' office in ILLINOIS!!!!!!!! Iowa candidates should stay in Iowa. Jacobs's office is here in the Quad-Cities, but I am an Iowan and want my candidates in Iowa. Using Iowans and everything. Nothing against Illinois, I was born there and go over there all the time, but I repeat, I am an Iowan and expect my candidates to use Iowa phones and Iowa help. After all, they all say they are bringing jobs back here. So start with the campaigns.

1. Sounds like...
...the guy couldn't take no for an answer. After a while you have to have some tact in polling. The bullying isn't going to work (though apparently that guy's candidate is one who is used to bullying...).

2. In 2004 had a guy from the shrubeenie campaign who wouldn't give up
By the time we got done I had convinced him to vote for Kerry. He said he was done making calls. Don't know if it was true but it was one of the most enjoyable hours I ever spent.
