Feingold coming to Iowa!!!

Russ Feingold is coming to Iowa on April 28 and 29th. I don't have all the information yet, but will post it as soon as I know. Here is what I got. The event on the 28th will be in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids and the event on the 29th will be in Ft. Dodge following the 4th District's Convention. The night will be a fundraiser for Dr. Seldon Spencer, who is running for Congress against Tom Latham, and Feingold will be speaking at the event.

I'm pretty sure he'll be at a FR for Loebsack Friday, April 28th after the Iowa City speech. (Hello, Seth, I'll be at both the IC speech and the Loebsack event)

So, what other DUers will be there?

Do you have additional info on the FR for Loebsack on April 28th? His website is out of date (a big pet peve of mine, btw). I'd love to try to see Feingold in IC - sadly, Rambis will be OOT).

I am goign to the 4th District convention, so I will be at the Spencer event. I don't work Friday, so I will probably make the trip to Iowa City.

I would like to try to attend the Apr-28 date. I have been meaning to go to a Loebsack function to show my support but I have been so un-freakin-believably busy with work and the family that I haven't been able to do much of anything at all.

Throw in Feingold on top of that and I will be forced to find a way to make it.

I have to hear Feingold speak in person. He has done an amazing job of speaking for me these past years and I gotta see what he has to say now-a-days.

14. I listened to some of the recent hearing and LOVED him when he

ate Chris Wallace's lunch (or breakfast if you will since it WAS Faux Sunday Morning show). I hope he's as strong and confident in person. I can't wait to meet him.

I know this will make you laugh, Seth, but when I met Howard Dean for the first time he was just so sure of himself. Here he was running against Kerry/Gephardt/Edwards/Kucinich - guys who knew Washington and about running big campaigns. Yet he was confident in what he was saying and how he felt. (I won't mention about how I felt in January of 2004 :cry:)

I hope meeting Feingold feels the same. I'm excited! :bounce:

but I have to be running about the Chicago suburbs on business. I hope his visit will be adequately covered so I can find out what he said.
