1. Curious about the liberal vs. regressive split here
SInce regessives continue to cry around the country about this, was there any attempt to shut them up? I am not familiar with all those folks. Where would Daschle be classified?

3. All good speakers
I went to the Daschle speech and will be at the Thomas Frank speech tomorrow night. My son who is a student at ISU has been to them all. They are first come first served seating, but the rooms have dividers that they can open if they need to. They are all great speakers and topics. If you can get to Ames for a couple or all of them, do so!!!!!

This is like Vietnam . . . we need to lead and win through lectures and teach ins!!! Truth and idealism is power!!!!

4. Welcome to DU, Broke Dad
I plan on heading over to Ames for the Thomas Frank speech tomorrow. I have read most of the book and heard that he is a good speaker. Here is a link to lecture he gave at Drake a couple weeks ago.
