Bush Addresses Nation?
It was interesting hearing Bush's address to the nation tonight. I'm trying to figure out what he's actually talking about? How long can a President continue to talk in vague generalities? What's your take on this?

1. I can't listen anymore
If he's on tv, I either shut it off, or switch to a cable channel. You'll never figure out what he's talking about, you might as well give up.

2. My take?
More of the same bullshit. Over and over and over...ad nauseum. Wish he'd just shut up. Missed last nights speech as there were other things going on, but this alleged press conference is just a rehash of Republican talking points.

3. Missed last night's speech but watched press conf. this AM
My God! It's legal for the President to break the law and infringe on American's civil liberties in order to protect our civil liberties! WTF???

It is MOST IMPORTANT we give him a Congress in 2007 that keeps this insanity in check AND begins honest and earnest investigations into the last freakin five years.

4. Can't listen to him for more than a minute or two. Too painful.
I think the only time I will listen to an entire speech of his will be his resignation speech.

5. He is a putz.
He actually took a portion of his speech and spoke directly to his doubters or those that disagree with his decisions that led to the war or whatever he called us...

Anyway, first he says he will address why we went to Iraq in the first place....but the only thing that he actually DOES address is whether we should stay or leave. THOSE ARE TWO SEPERATE MISTAKES YOUVE MADE, JACKASS.

Regardless of whether we should stay now or leave now, he lied us into a war and he should be held accountable.

He just won't get it, and at this point I truly question his mental faculties.

6. Why does he always say 'Let me finish...' when no one interrupted him?
Does he wear a wire during speeches? Or are the voices in his head talking too loud?

7. I thought it was....
I thought that whole bit was due to the audible gasp coming from America while he talks. See, we can't hear it because we are all gasping and booing at the same time...but he can hear us. Poor Georgie.
