It's going to a be a long 3.5 years
Especially with Terry Braindead sucking up to Paul Ryan;

Republican Gov. Terry Branstad on Monday offered heaping praise for U.S. House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan for bravely offering ideas to tackle the country's mushrooming national debt.

"I have been very impressed with this young man," Branstad said of the Wisconsin Republican. "I think he has great courage. Nobody of either party has had the guts to stand up and say, 'We need to take on entitlements.' I think this is the first real effort to do something significant about it."

At the same time, Branstad sharply criticized Gingrich, Obama and U.S. Senate Democrats for playing politics with the issue and attacking Ryan for his plan, which among other things would turn Medicare into a voucher program, rather than offering alternatives.

"That's why a lot of Republicans were not happy with Gingrich, because here's the first person that stepped forward and said, 'I've got an idea.' And this is a comprehensive idea. It will reduce the national debt," Branstad said. "The other people are still playing politics. If we continue to play politics, the country's going to go down the drain while we play politics."

Go to hell, Terry, and take Ryan with you.

2. The first thing that needs to be done
is to take away branstad's double dipping salary. Why is he entitled to a pension when he is the Governor? I realize that he was Governor and is supposedly entitled to his pension from that stint, but why won't he just either give that up or have no salary at all this time around?
Now I feel that I am entitled to Social Security since I've been paying in all these years. And so are you all. They better not take it away. And as other posters have so eloquently stated, go to hell branstad, and take ryan with you.

4. Lets hope that remorse helps us put Democrats in the State House and Senate.
God help us if there isn't any opposition to Braindead and his R thugs.

5. Voting Makes No Difference
Ever since the 2003 Help America Vote Act created state funds to purchase electronic voting machines and tabulators, your singular role in our government has been stolen. Here in Iowa we have paper ballots that are never manually counted to certify EE&S "Electronic Election Services" tabulators. I have no faith in any means of electronic elections. I have no faith in my state or federal government. I have no confidence in either party or level of government. All of them only represent corporations and banks, no one else.

7. Senate Dems are stopping every piece of CRAZY SHIT LEGISLATION
coming out of the house.

So I don't much subscribe to the "They are All The Same" thing. Evidence shows otherwise.

But knock yourself out.
