lots to mock with repubs in legislature:
I just got an email about an LTTE in the ICPC. I can't seem to find the original LTTE, so here is part of it I got in my inbox:

"What Bill describes going on in Des Moines is but a sequel to Meredith Wilson’s “Music Man.” Now playing in the Iowa General Assembly is “Legislator Man” in which the Iowa Republican controlled House is just warming up and has added two more inane acts.

To sell some of the property of the people of Iowa to the highest bidder---if it works out like that of Indiana Republicans, it will be to Spain and Australia, and likely prompt them to sell back the Louisiana Purchase (with all of Iowa thrown in).

In addition to this the same folks in the General Assembly have decided to do God a favor by defining the begging of life to be the exact moment of conception---but at a budget busting expense to tax payers of the cost of equipping nuptial bedrooms with bleachers for observers to determine circumstance warranting pregnancy tests."

C'mon folks! Let's have some fun with these clowns. Maybe it will open some eyes.
