Lets give the righties a constitutional amendment

If the reich wing wants a constitutional amendment, lets give them one. One that says that no law can be passed that when it comes to marriage that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation, race, or ethnic heritage, and says that marriage is between two people.

1. If they insist on the 'one man, one woman' and it looks like it

would be hammered through, I would like to see that somehow interpreted to mean that each person is allowed only one marriage. One man, one woman. that is it for your life, even if a spouse dies.
I am going to guess that divorse is far more devastating on society than gay marriage will ever be. My foggy recollection of the bibble recalls many passages decrying divorce. I know in the catholic indoctrination I received for 18 years hammered "no divorce" into my head.
So if it has to be one man, one woman I hope there is an implicit 'one time.'
