1. I am a Dem

Born, raised, and likely will die a Dem, but I sure wish Culver and co. would do something about taxes. The last four years in a row I have paid state taxes. And I am far from a wealthy person. So if something is not done about this situation, I may look somewhere other than Culver to ease my burden. Selfish? Yep, but every year the bill gets higher and higher. Enough is enough.

3. I don't know that the middle of a recession is the time to be asking to have your taxes cut

We're all in for a tough time - and it's nothing that Culver and Co. did to us.
