With a nod to Greg Brown..on Election Day
Have you ever seen such a beautiful fall day..

After 8 years of yahoos and lemmings off the cliff types of decisions, today is the day. We are making that change. I thought we were never going to get here.. And here it is :grouphug:

Lets dance Iowa.. chorus from the Beautiful Iowa Waltz

Iowa, Iowa,
Winter, spring, summer and fall.
Come and see,
Come dance with me,
To the beautiful Iowa Waltz.

5. Speaking of treasures.. counting feedcaps in one of my top favs
Let's go down to the cafe and count feedcaps,
and count feedcaps, in a row.
Red and blue and green over the coffee cups,
Stirrin' easy, fadin' slow.

Makes me think of my Dad, who by the way, before he died in 2007 predicted Obama would win, and always word one kind of hat or another.

We stopped counting caps after 100, and those caps went out to friends and family all over the US.

6. The third verse I think is the best!!
What does it profit him
The right to be born
If he suffers the loss of liberty?
Laws were made for people
And the law can never scorn
The right of a man to be free
We are the people
And we shall overcome

We are the people
And we shall overcome

Free the people!
Let them have their say
Free the people!
Let them see the light of day!
Free the people!
Let them have their say
Free the people!
Let them see the light of day
