thank you so much for keeping us in touch with what is going on in CR. Your stories and pictures are really driving it home. But I won't say "heckuva job".

1. LOL -- thanks
Don't expect any downtown photos for today -- too dangerous to try to get down there. Also, I'm feeling like I should stay close to home, work on getting the basement dry and maybe head to the store for provisions.

If you want to see how crazy people are, head over to my vid on YouTube and read the the comment by user t4705mb6 --

3. Get baptized? would that involve being dunked in water?
just doesn't sound too appealing any more.
The comment about the Russian weather machine looked like pretty solid science though.

4. As if being under water wasn't bad enough...
Your video gets stalked by one of Fred Phelps' devotees.

Hang in there.

Amazing vid by the way.

5. great footage Cornfield, KCRG has aerial video up now too
I just watched it before coming here. Looks like the Library is history from the video. Get some much deserved rest but having been through floods before myself, I know how difficult that can be. Blessings to you!

6. Thanks for the updates........
I sure wish I had the license to sell tin foil hats to the people who comment on the videos there. I never considered that it might be those nasty Russians behind this whole thing :tinfoilhat:

2. Added "and a little spakin for risking her neck!"
Thanks for letting us 'be there' without having to be there!

Hope the CornPalace dries out soon and everyone in CR can start the (icky) clean up process.

7. Yes, thanks Cornfield...
You've definitely shot some of the best CR-flood footage out there.

I watch it and I can't believe what I'm seeing!

I saw on the news here, a clip of the Paramount Theater in downtown CR. The
water was up to the marquee. I remember going to Playtime Poppy there, so
many years (decades!) ago!

Thanks again for getting this footage.

I hope your basement is dry.
