Some pics of the Decorah flooding (Dial-up warning)...
Hey all. Yesterday, DH and I couldn't stand it anymore and took a drive over to Decorah. Wouldn't you know, dope that I am, I FORGOT the freaking CAMERA. BIL to the rescue - I got an email from him today with pics from Decorah, lol. Apparently, he was there too. I wish he had some shots from a couple other spots - the view from up at Phelps Park (looks down on the river) was just amazing. Out by Walmart was crazy too. Anyway, here are some that he sent.

2. Thanks. Yes, we are.
We live over in Waukon - actually a couple miles out - and we are on a nice high spot. There are some drainage issues near our property which causes water to come into our basement, but our sump has always managed to keep up with it and our basement has never been wet. :)

Lot of other folks not so lucky though. :-(

NWS is saying another 1-4" of rain possible again Wed. night through Thurs. night. Very bad news.

4. I just found a blog of someone from Decorah and he says that
the Regents Center at Luther was flooded and that all the athletic fields were under FEET of water. I'm sure it's down a lot today, but I had not heard that news before.

Anyway, just thought I'd pass that along.
