I got this email today from Democracyradio. Many folks in central an western Iowa have been wanting to find a way to bring left wing radio to their areas. Maybe this can help:
---------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Friend of Democracy Radio:
Democracy Radio continues to break new ground as the Pioneer of Progressive Talk. Since the November election, our hosts have added new affiliates in big cities and rural communities across the country.
From Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., and from Reno to Binghamton to Quad Cities, Iowa -- Progressive Talk radio is coming to a radio near you. If it hasn’t yet, then read to the bottom to learn how to bring change to your local station.
While Ed Schultz is based in Fargo, N.D. and Stephanie Miller is in Los Angeles, our hosts are on the road from time to time, and I wanted to give you an update.
Last week, Ed Schultz was in New York, where he grabbed the first network radio interview with Academy Award winner and activist, Jane Fonda. Ed will be in Washington, D.C. on Friday, April 22, speaking to the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers conference. On April 20, Ed will headline the South Dakota McGovern Day Dinner in Spearfish.
Stephanie Miller heads to New England next week, with stops in New Haven, Springfield, and Boston.
On Monday and Tuesday, April 25-16, Stephanie will be broadcasting live from the Omni New Haven Hotel. To request tickets to be in the live studio audience, go to www.theVOICE1300.com.
On Wednesday, she will be in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the studios of WMAS.
On Thursday and Friday, Stephanie will broadcast out of the studios of “Boston’s Progressive Talk.” The station is giving away “Lunch with Stephanie” on Thursday – check out www.bostonsprogressivetalk.com for details.
If stations in your community are not yet broadcasting Progressive Talk, send us an e-mail at info@democracyradio.org and we’ll see what we can do about it.
Thanks for your support.
