Iowa nees us!!

This is a call to all Iowans who post on DU (and anyone who is from NH as well).

We need to show our support for Iowa's First in the Nation status.

Why are the caucuses important to us?

Why do we deserve to continue to be First?

I think or process is great (and I'm a Dean supporter:hi:) and don't want to see it end.

Now is the time to speak up!

2. Basically they are key because if you win in the Heartland,

you win in the end. If a canidate can convince the Iowians to vote for them they are on the right path to winning the election. This is the ground zero for elections especialy for the democrats.

These are the people who are divided 50/50, so just think about it with logic then you will see the truth behind what I am saying. I was born and grew up my entire life in Iowa believe me, I know all about it and them.

That is why I am a democrat and that is why Iowa should always be blue not red. Win over the farmers who leaned to the red and you will win any election you choose to. It is a excellent proving ground.

Other than our representatives on the commission (Jerry Crawford and Roxanne Conlin) and the Chair of the Party (Howard Dean) you can get a list of commission members off of the DNC web site.

Letters to the Editor telling why we do such a good job as First wouldn't hurt.

Letters to Vilsack/Culver/Harkin telling them to fight for us as well.
