Greater Indianapolis for Change

"Don't waste any time in mourning. Organize" - Joe Hill - before his execution in 1915

Astroturf is ascending and the true grass-roots feels disheartened!
The Senate seat of the late Senator Edward Kennedy is won by a Republican!
The right-wing ACTIVIST Supreme Court overturns a century of precedent and overturns the will of the people to aid the corporate giants!

Don't Mourn -- ORGANIZE!

Now is not the time to let up; it is the time to redouble our efforts.
Change does not come about quickly and it does not happen without resistance.
Media pundits may see this as a resurgence of the Right, but in reality, they are desperately trying to grab what they can and fight the change that they see coming. The "Supremes" are hoping that by allowing a huge infusion of corporate money they can stem the tide of the true grass-roots.

Don't Mourn -- ORGANIZE!

The pundits have written off 2010 as the end of the Obama era, as a time when the Right-Wing will begin the return to power. The President hasn't given up and neither should we, but he did remind us that he cannot do this alone!

Together we have more power than we realize. If we engage, if we continue to fight, if we organize -- then they will not prevail!

Take action!!

Sign Congressman Grayson's petition to show support for his six bills to save democracy from the Supreme Court's decision to allow unlimited political spending by corporations.
