Bloomington, Ind., woman says she'll challenge Bayh in primary
I won't vote for Bayh. I won't give a cent to his campaign. I won't be deterred by fearmongering about having a Republican take Bayh's seat. Our votes must be earned, and Bayh has done everything to deserve to be ousted from office. The Bayhs are whores for the health insurance and Big Pharma industries. They deserve nothing but our scorn!

I would rather vote for a challenger to Bayh, who has little money and no chance of winning, but that represents my values than to ever cast a vote for Evan Bayh.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A Bloomington restaurant owner says she is organizing a campaign to challenge U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh for the Democratic nomination next year.

Tamyra d'Ippolito says she wants to be a proponent for the poor and that she wasn't pleased with Bayh's stance on health care reform. She says she's a colon cancer survivor and has been without health and dental insurance since opening Ragazzi Arte Cafe five years ago.

The 50-year-old d'Ippolito was campaign chairwoman for Gretchen Clearwater, who unsuccessfully challenged Rep. Baron Hill in last year's Democratic primary.

She says she's organizing volunteers to collect the 4,500 petition signatures she needs to have her name included on the May primary ballot.

1. Good
It's hard to see how having a Republican would be any different, especially on health care. He needs to earn the "D"

2. Then she will be my candidate
Because I will never vote for Evan Bayh for any reason, ever again.
