Give 'em hell Harry! Joe Biden goes to town on McCain and the Republicans

Joe Biden has been giving some pretty fiery (and rightly so) stump speeches where he loudly and passionately (that's what i like about Joe... the passion) points out the ridiculous nonsense of John McCain and the Republican non-record, and abject failures.

Joe Biden was my first choice in the primary campaign, although I was quite fond of Barack Obama due to the impact his 2004 Democratic National Convention Keynote Speech had not only on my psyche, but my mental health. When Joe dropped out, I glanced Hillary's way because I am an almost 50-year-old woman, but I had to go with Barack Obama. I do want to see a change in our political discourse. The above writing is in part why I want things to change.

I would love to have a reasoned debate with Republicans and actually be able to exchange ideas and consider points-of-view. It is never possible in the world we live in today. I am doubtful that it every will be, but I hang onto the 'hope factor'. It's fun to be snarky and cynical. A lot of people wouldn't have a thing to say if politics were too nice. But the fact is that neighbor to neighbor, in small communities, we really need to learn how to talk to each other about issues, respectfully and intelligently. It's an important and necessary component to solving real problems.
